Just what the heck is a pess-opt, you might ask? Well, a pess-opt could be what happens when a pessimist and an optimist set aside thier collective differences for a night of boozing, only to wake up pregnant and with a hangover. Or perhaps pess-opts are formed in the super-dence heart of a black hole. I don't really know, but this is how I see things:
A). I see the glass as being half-empty.
B). Given the perverse nature of the universe, creation itsself causes a quantum fluctuation in the fabric of reality.
C). This causes the glass to become just a little more than half-full for no other reason than to proove me wrong.
D). I anticipate this responce, and operate based off of this principal, which can cause the unastute observer to assume that I am an optimist.
This is of course a ridiculous assumption. I am simply so pessimistic that I come back the other direction as an optimist. Thus, I am a pess-opt.
